CRISTINA
AMEZCUA.

BACKGROUND

Cristina is a Mexican artist living in Munich, Germany. Growing up in a bicultural family with a Colombian mother and a Mexican father, she developed a deep love for Latin American indigenous arts and vibrant colors. From an early age, Cristina immersed herself in drawing and began creating landscape and impressionist paintings.

For the past 18 years, she has traveled widely and worked with various multinational companies, startups and international organizations. These experiences have enriched her understanding of different cultures, which now greatly inspire her artwork.

Cristina found that expressionist and abstract painting offer a spontaneous and joyful way to express her emotions and interests. She primarily works with acrylics, oil, and pastels on both canvas and paper.

Inspired by artists like Monet, Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Derain, Matisse, and Kandinsky, Cristina blends lines, colors, and textures to convey emotions, moments, and the essence of human nature. To see more of her work, follow her on Instagram: @testigocreativo.
